Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel Filming Start Date & Locations Revealed:

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel has finally got a production start date. Furthermore, the project will be filmed in several locations including New York as revealed earlier.

According to Production Weekly, the untitled Spider-Man 2 will begin filming on May 19thwith the working title “Fall Of George”. But another W/T termed “BOSCO” was also mentioned in the report.

The sequel project will be filmed in several locations namely London, New York, Prague and Venice. Production is expected to wrap sometime around September.

It was earlier reported by Omega Underground that shooting could take place in Berlin, Germany as well. The location was previously used for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Furthermore, Atlanta was also listed for a portion of the film’s production.

There have been some speculations which suggest the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man could be traveling abroad. A casting call from That Hashtag Show which revealed the studios’ searching for a Femme Fatale, “a mysterious European young lady that will likely lead [Spider-Man] into danger.”

What we know for now is the sequel takes place following the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Peter Parker will be attending junior year of high school and will have to go back dealing with being a normal teenager but also deal with the fact that he took on the Mad Titan a.k.a Thanos.

The untitled Spider-Man sequel will open in theatres on July 5th, 2019.
